CP Dental Training was founded by Cara Phillips in October 2016, with the aim of providing a bespoke training and consultancy service for dental professionals. It offers a range of in-house training courses specifically aimed at the dental team, all of which provide verifiable CPD hours. Courses are designed with the GDC standards, CQC/HIW guidance and associated legislation in the forefront.

All courses include a range of learning experiences, including practical elements and quizzes designed to engage delegates and provide a fun learning experience! CP Dental Training understands that time is precious in dentistry- so courses are short and concise and can be booked at a time to suit your practice.

Consultancy services are aimed at supporting practices in compliance with the most recent legislation, GDC standards and CQC/HIW guidance. As well as offering audits and risk assessments, CP Dental Training can provide support and guidance with preparing for an inspection, updating policies to reflect new legislation and guidance or simply giving advice on compliance issues.

My Story

“I have been working within the dental sector for over 15 years. I began my dental career training as a dental nurse when I was 17 years old.

I absolutely loved my job, but had a passion for learning and shortly after qualifying I gained a degree in Biological and Medical sciences at the University of Liverpool.

I have since completed several qualifications including Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector and the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.”

“I found my passion for teaching others during my time working as a tutor and now have several years experience as a practice support consultant, where I delivered a range of in-house training courses to dental professionals and provided support with all areas of compliance.
