NetSoft College of Technology was founded in 2004 and has grown to be a state-of-the-art college. In 2004, Tariq Azad was an instructor for another IT organization, where he realized that there were plenty of programs that focused on technical courses and certification, but there were none committed to helping students develop the skills they need to achieve their career goals and propel themselves to the next level.

Tariq believes that for students to be truly successful, they must gain confidence, develop job-hunting and interview skills, and make meaningful connections with their instructors and peers.

In 2011, NetSoft was officially registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005 and is now affiliated with many respectable technology companies, including Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, Cisco and Red Hat.
