Injectables Medical Aesthetics Course

This is a comprehensive 2-day course, which covers the fundamentals of Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler training.

The program includes in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, clinical assessment, medical aesthetics products and injection techniques.This certified course combines theory and practical hands-on training.

This course is provided, supervised, and guided by Dr. Delgado, who is an Associate Professor at the Department of Medicine of the University of Toronto, certified by the College of Physician and Surgeons of Ontario.

Dr. Delgado is teaching facial anatomy and novel medical aesthetics techniques Nationally and Internationally with over 20 years of experience. Dr, Delgado is also a member of the Humber’s Medical Aesthetics Program Advisory Committee.

The course is ideal for physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners. Graduates will receive a certification upon the successful completion of the hands-on training.Graduates will have life-long free access to educational material and mentoring.

Day 1

• Clinically oriented facial anatomy
• Botulinum Toxin A treatments
  • Products, facial assessment, techniques
• Dermal Fillers
  • Products, facial assessment, use of needles and cannulas, techniques
• Indications, contraindications, side effects and complications
• Treatment algorithms
• Hands-on training on mannequins

Day 2

• Clinical assessment
• Skin post-care treatments
• Business development
• Hands-on training on models

Pre-Requisites:

 Nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, medical students or medical aestheticians with an active license.

Credential: 

A certificate is issued by Vita Medical Aesthetics Academy. You will earn 4 Section 1 and up to 2 Section 2 credits for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or 8 hours of continuing medical education.
