Interior designing is the art and science of enhancing the interior of a building to achieve a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for the people using the space. An interior designer is someone who plans, researches, coordinates, and manages such projects.

 Interior design is a multifaceted profession that includes conceptual development, space planning, site inspections, programming, research, communicating with the stakeholders of a project, construction management, and execution of the design.

Due to the economic growth of India & rapid modernisation the construction & retail industry is growing at a very fast pace.The Indian construction industry, which accounts for approximately 11% of the GDP, has an estimated investment of US $500 billion, and is growing at around 34 % annually.

The Indian retail industry is the fifth largest in the world, and contributes about 22% of the GDP. It is expected to grow 25 per cent annually, to be worth US$ 175- 200 billion by 2020. With phenomenal rise of construction & retail industry there is huge requirement for architects & interior designers which can match the appetite of growing India.
