Intermediate French

All our language classes are centered around our students and have been designed to develop practical language skills. Each course will run from September to May. Each week you will attend a two-hour class to help progress and consolidate your learning around the four core skills of listening.

Choosing French A Level offers you the chance to deepen your understanding of one of the world’s most widely spoken languages. French is spoken by over 300 million people across five continents, making it a truly global language.

French language course is offered by The Language Centre for all skill level. We have courses from beginners to very advanced students, taught by experienced native speakers or teachers who have spent part of their lives in one of the countries where the language is spoken.

The Alliance Française Glasgow is the official French government’s Language and Cultural centre for Glasgow and the West of Scotland. It is one of 835 Alliance Françaises located in 132 countries over the five continents, making it the largest cultural network in the world.

The course builds on the holiday topics from the beginner’s course, but in more depth and with a greater range of vocabulary. There will be an additional topic on personal information to help you start to have more personal conversations with native French speakers.
