Rigging work is undertaken in construction and other industries where load-shifting equipment is used to move, place or secure loads.
This unit has a pre-requisite requirement. This requirement may be met by either the successful completion of the unit CPCCLRG3001 Licence to perform rigging basic level or by holding a valid licence for basic rigging.
Competence in this unit does not in itself result in a licence. A licence is obtained after competence is assessed under applicable Commonwealth, state or territory work health and safety (WHS) regulations.
We are a nationally recognised training organisation, candidates who successfully complete the course will be provided with a statement of attainment and high-risk licence application for CPCCLRG3002 Licence to perform rigging intermediate level.
Courses and VOC’s (verification of competency) can be performed at the candidate’s worksite provided adequate equipment is available to conduct the assessment.
Competence in this unit, requires the completion of the National Assessment Instrument to obtain a HRWL licence to operate this plant.
