The international Latin American dances (that include Rumba, Cha Cha Cha, Samba, Paso Doble and Jive) which offer, a mixture of courses, private lessons and group lessons plus opportunities to enjoy the dances at regular party nights.

Rythemics have programs which gradually introduces many of the Latin American dances in a single course. This is a great way to get dancing quickly. T

he courses also include the international modern ballroom dances, since it is customary for both styles to be featured more or less equally at each dance party. A version of Rock N Roll or jive is also included as part of the Latin American style in our programs. The style and techniques taught by our qualified teachers are recognized internationally and will be identical worldwide.

jive dance classes are offered by Sydney Dance Rhythms. Jive is a formalised version of rock and roll dancing. It is essentially a variant of the swing whereby the hip swings from side to side and the weight changes resemble a type of skipping and hopping. Swing come from the 1930's to the 1940's.
