This course aims to equip trainees with capabilities to recognise an existing smart infrastructure, to design and implement a new IoT solution. It also covers a wide spectrum of fundamental topics such as networking technologies and protocols, IoT/M2M architecture and infrastructure, cloud computing, systems security and data analytics focusing on how it works together to form a complete IoT ecosystem. Through practical sessions, participants will experience the setting up of a simple IoT system.
Course Outline:
Singapore Polytechnic was set up on 27 October 1954, making it the very first polytechnic to be established in Singapore.
Singapore Polytechnic started out right in the heart of the financial district. Today, the polytechnic is located strategically in Dover Road - in the educational belt and science hub in the western part of Singapore.
Our graduates have contributed significantly to Singapore's economic and industrial growth and many are now well-known entrepreneurs. Others hold positions of responsibility and leadership in industry, business and in public organisations.
We may be the oldest Polytechnic but the pioneering spirit is kept very much alive. Look around our campus. We are constantly refurbishing the buildings and facilities to ensure that they are up to date and well equipped for training students in the new industries and emerging technologies.
The change and development is not limited to the physical. Our underlying philosophy and leadership provide the direction for our vision.
SEC556 facilitates examining the entire IoT ecosystem, helping you build the vital skills needed to identify, assess, and exploit basic and complex security mechanisms in IoT devices. This course gives you tools and hands-on techniques necessary to evaluate the ever-expanding IoT attack surface.
With more application of Internet of Things, there is an increased in interest with regards to how IoT is applied and how it can be utilized to improve the quality of life as well as make work more efficient.
The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to an extensive network of connected physical devices, from home appliances to vehicles, in which sensors are embedded to communicate data about the device to a cloud computing platform.
Understand the role of the Internet of Things (IoT) in society, the current components of IoT devices, and the trends for the future.? The explosive growth of IoT is changing our world, and the rapid drop in prices of IoT components is allowing people to innovate, design and build products at home.
Intellisoft introduces the Internet of Things Training (IoT), which extends Internet connectivity from computers and related devices to other physical devices or common objects and leverages from technologies such as embedded systems, wireless sensors, and automation.
