Course Details

Learn the fundamentals of using the Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) plasma cutter and router and explore the workflow to create functional, decorative, and sculptural objects in metal and wood.

New Students will work on guided 2-axis and 2.5-axis projects while gaining the fundamental CNC workflow skills of computer aided design (CAD), tool paths (CAM), CNC machine operation, project assembly, and finishing. Returning Students will further their skillsets through personal CNC projects with instructor guidance.
