DurationIn this class you will learn the tools, techniques, and skills required to create your very first crochet project. You will learn about different yarn types, how to read a yarn label, get a crash course on crochet hooks, and learn other useful tips and tricks.
We will also go over the very basic foundation stitches and terms that will lay the groundwork for you to create your first project.
After practicing these skills you will be ready to start your crochet hobby.
If time permits you will start to create a Mug Coaster or Bookmark!
Easy Going Sewing began in 2014 as one after-school class per week. We now offer weekday and weekend classes for adults and kids, as well as winter break camps and eight weeks of summer camps near the Tucker/Northlake/Spaghetti Junction area.

All Materials Included! These are great beginner projects for those who want to learn some easy and fun quilting techniques.
I teach using a projector and camera so that you can clearly see my demos. We will work on 5 beautiful and fun motifs that you can put on your own quilts using your home sewing machine. Get ready to finish that stack of tops!

Learn all the basics of knitting in this 4 part class. First learn how to cast-on, knit, purl, and bind-off with a simple piece that will be used as part of a charity afghan. Then, go on to a project of your choice.
