Sewing classes are offered for children 7 & up. We also offer Adult classes. Our classes are limited to due to Covid-19. All students are required to wear face coverings or face mask.
We have Hand sanitizers and cleaning procedures in place. We are following CDC guidelines. Classes are offered Monday- Saturday Classes range from 1 day to 8 weeks and our 2 - 4 hrs long.
Join us to learn some of the basics of piecing a quilt so you can feel comfortable working on more interesting projects! Â You will also learn how to properly use a rotary cutter as well as tips and trick for piecing a quilt top and how it's different from sewing other types of projects.
Sewing class on industrial sewing machine, this is not a design class, this class will teach you the process of how to make high quality leather products, you will learn how to make your own patterns, how to install zippers, how to embellish, how to use the right tools.
A machine will be provided for you! Learning to use a sewing machine will be essential to your home sewing experience. You will have the option to buy a sewing machine at the end of the first class.
Learn how to sew the french seam, how to sew on a bias binding, (for sleeve without ruffle). You will learn how to a sew in a neck facing. Top has a simple machine hem and may include some important hand-stitching.
During this two-week series, you will learn the foundations of sewing machine operation, as well as measuring, cutting and fabric selection. You will leave with a good working knowledge of a sewing machine and a beautiful handmade pillowcase.
