Students will learn an extensive range of hand stitches, how to shape a garment foundation, design and tailor a variety of pocket styles, design and shape lapels and collars, and how to set structured roped sleeves.
Learn sewing techniques and vocabulary as you create a simple pillowcase apron. You will learn how to make a cute apron using a pillowcase and gain the understanding of simple fabric design layouts with tips and tricks to measuring, marking, pinning and basic sewing skills.
A machine will be provided for you! Learning to use a sewing machine will be essential to your home sewing experience. You will have the option to buy a sewing machine at the end of the first class.
