Ms. Sylvia started her journey into her love of sewing at the age of 10. By the time she was headed to middle school, she created her "first line" of clothing for herself. That love of sewing has stretched over 46 years.
She has created/designed in many areas, including day wear, evening wear, bridal, proms, baby bedding, home decor, and plus size clothing for girls. She has worked in the fashion industry.
For the past 36 years as a pattern maker, but her real love has always been sewing and creating. She is excited to share the "tools of the trade" secrets with aspiring young designers.

Join us the first Wednesday evening of the month to work on the current month's row for the Traverse BOM! The evening will begin with a demo on how the block/row goes together with tips for success, and participants can then stay and work on the row if they wish.
