I am a native Washingtonian with a passion for teaching sewing, crafting, quilting, machine embroidering, home decorating and bookmaking. Sewing has been a 40-year journey for me ever since my mother bought be a Kenmore sewing machine as a child.
This class is for beginning to intermediate students, ages 8 - 13. We will teach students how to use their machine and make a project each month. Please check with us for details on each month's project.
Over the course of the series, complete three projects that teach professional sewing techniques like sewing straight lines WITHOUT pins and other basics including winding a bobbin, threading a sewing machine, reading patterns and cutting fabric on the grain.
Kimmie and Patty have a wealth of quilting experience. They host a sit-n-Sew the third Tuesday of every month. Come bask in their knowledge and sew with your friends. Bring your own projects and a lunch.
