This nationally recognised qualification explores the factors that influence a child’s development and how development can be enhanced through the right activity and interaction.

The course is suitable for anyone already working in the sector, looking to work with children or just interested in the social and physical development stages of children.

You will learn about the expected stages of development and possible reasons for delayed development.

On average the course takes 14 weeks to complete. Time frame depends on the time you have available and your prior knowledge.

Whether working online or with paper materials you are supplied with all the information required to complete the course. The assessments are made up of questions asking you to describe, explain, identify or list information. To be able to pass this qualification answers must be in your own words, using sentences and paragraphs.
