This second level of the introduction into Tambour embroidery series will continue the student's exploration of techniques using the hook, and will bring the embroidery student a step closer to the final goal of designing embroidery from the frame into an article of wearable fashion.

  • Point Tire” and how it works with thread, seed beads and bugle beads

  • Appliqué

  • Point Riche stitch

  • Wiring three dimensional element

  • Creating double sided sequins and beads on fabric

  • Creating more dimensional effects with the basic stitch
