We are located on Treaty 1 Territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
This Video Editing training is primarily based on learning the AVID Media Composer digital editing system, the professional industry standard. It also teaches the basics of television, compositing, audio mixing and the entire editing process, from media acquisition to mastering.
The whole course is 30 hours, but each student is only allowed to enrol in the first stage for only 10 hours. Students cannot apply for a certificate until 30 hours have elapsed.
This subject will give students an opportunity to experience first-hand the art of video editing. Though predominantly hands-on, this course will also explore the topic of editing through supplemental lectures/discussions and will make generous use of on-screen material to make students more aware ...
Video Editing is offered by Toronto School of Art. Toronto School of Art acknowledges the ancestral and traditional territories of the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Haudenosaunee, the Anishinaabe and the Huron-Wendat, who are the original owners and custodians of the land on which we stand.
In addition to deepening the notions seen during the first part, including masks, expressions, the extraction of a green screen and 3D, the training will focus on time effects and camera trajectory tracking with Mocha. Also covered will be the puppet tool, character animation, and animation curves.
