This course is designed to prepare you for working within a childcare setting/school and assess the most appropriate progression route for you. You will receive underpinning knowledge relating to a variety of units to prepare you for study and working with children.
Candidates will be able to understand what is meant by the term "Vulnerable Adult", know the forms abuse may take, recognise signs and symptoms of abuse, know what to do and what not to do in the event that an allegation of abuse has been made or is suspected.
Our Childcare courses are designed to build the knowledge and skills you will need when working with children. During your course you will study a wide range of subjects in college and have the opportunity to put new skills into practice whilst on work placement.
