Introduction To Knitting

In this course, designed exclusively for beginner knitters, we will use straight needles to tame knitting, one stitch at a time. Notions covered in this lesson include: casting on, knit stitch - garter stitch, purl stitch - stockinette stitch.

Then we will see how to cast off the stitches and fasten the threads. Then, to diversify our works, we will make a selvage stitch, seed stitch, ribbing and we will experiment with different techniques according to our desires of the moment. At the end of the three lessons, you'll go home with everything you need to tackle your next project.
