The Gloucestershire Primary Care Workforce Centre was created to establish a central, easily accessible resource for Primary Care staff. It is collaboration with Gloucestershire ICB and Workforce Transformation and Education, led and managed by Gloucestershire Primary Care Training Hub.
Our vision is to provide several main functions:
To be a central training and education resource, where all professions in Primary Care can see in one place what education and training opportunities are on offer across the county.
To be a career pathway resource for those considering a move into the Primary Care arena; either as newly qualified staff, or transitioning into the sector from other roles.
To be a resource for Medical and non –medical staff who are thinking of moving to the Gloucestershire area, and act as an additional job and locum vacancy platform.
We hope it will grow and develop over time to meet the needs of the workforce and employers.
