Course Overview
The Introduction to Programming course comprises sessions dealing with variables, expressions, conditional statements, collections, iterative statements, functions, objects, compilation and execution, and best practices.
This hands-on course does not concentrate on any one language in particular, rather its aim is to familiarise delegates with standard programming terminology, structures, and principles. Examples are given in three languages – Python, Java, and JavaScript – and delegates may choose any one of these languages with which to carry out the practical exercises.
Exercises and examples are used throughout the course to give practical hands-on experience with the techniques covered.
The delegate will learn and acquire skills as follows:
Writing to reading from the console
Declaring and initialising variables
Constructing expressions
Constructing conditional statements
Working with arrays/lists
Constructing iterative statements
Declaring and invoking/calling functions
Writing procedural programs
Working with classes and objects
Writing object oriented programs
Compiling and executing code
Who will the course benefit?
This Introduction to Programming course is designed for those new to programming, who want to learn about the terminology, structures, and principles of programming generally.
Attending this course will provide delegates with the prerequisite knowledge and required skills to go on to learn any programming language in detail, e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python, C, C++, C#, PHP, Perl, Ruby, etc.
Our trainers offer a lifetime of support after each course. Our pass rates are consistently above industry averages, however, if you do not pass first time, you can sit on a subsequent course free of charge (just pay the exam fee).
Over 98% of our delegates rate our trainers ‘good’ or ‘excellent’. TSG Training have been a knowledgeable, reputable UK training provider for almost 20 Years.
Apple's iOS is one of the most successful mobile platforms of all time and it powers the apps running on iPhone and iPad. With the release of Swift 2, the new language for Apple app developers, Xcode is the only tool you need to learn to write iOS apps.
Power Apps is a combination of applications, connectors, data platforms, and services, which provides a dynamic application development environment to develop customized applications, as per the requirement of the business.
F# is a widely known functional programming language that includes the.NET runtime environment and a run-timebase class library. F# inherits many features from C#, including immutable data, type references, and a powerful type system.
This course teaches exploitation methods from simple stack overflows to type confusion bugs in C++ code using various techniques including return-oriented programming and engineering read/write primitives.
The Python Django Certification course provides a thorough understanding of the Django REST framework and Django web framework. The course equips the delegates with the essential knowledge and skills required to create and deploy robust web applications and apps using Django.
