This workshop will introduce participants into the world of virtual reality. Participants will learn about VR components: displays, tracking, and optics. The workshop will cover major categories of VR devices and their features; it will also provide an opportunity for a hands-on experience with VR devices.
Participants will develop an application using the Unity game engine. Additional topics will include native development tools for VR (OpenGL, Microsoft DirectX) and webVR (building VR applications in a web browser).
