The Ottawa Flying Club, or OFC for short, was originally founded in 1928 and given the mandate to promote aviation in Canada through flight training and support for general aviation.
We have remained true to that vision for over 80 years, training thousands of pilots over the decades while providing a supportive and friendly environment for our members and students.
After completing your PPL, you will be able to fly during the day while keeping visual contact with the ground and continue on to additional ratings that will allow you to fly in various conditions.
A private pilot license (PPL) or a private pilot certificate, is a license that permits the holder to act as the pilot in command of an aircraft privately (not for pay).
The Integrated Airline Transport Pilot Licence Program (IATPL) is provided in collaboration with Centennial College and will be run from Toronto Airways facilities (the Canadian Flight Academy building) at the Oshawa Executive Airport.
Whether you are planning on flying for fun or making a career out of it, the PPL is the first step towards your flying future!
Our excellent flight training program and ground school program make it possible for you to soar to even greater heights.
