This is an introductory course for students with little or no background in Latin. It includes the study of the fundamental grammatical structures, vocabulary, and morphology of Classical Latin so that students may read and understand simple Latin texts.
In-class instruction is supplemented by a laboratory component in which students complete additional written practice and exercises. Note: This course is not open to students with credit in Latin 30, 35, or any other matriculation level Latin course.
