This two-day workshop is an ideal introduction for those considering studying the BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy (which includes sport and remedial massage).
Our workshop gives practical instruction in the general use of massage to those who have no previous training in this area. It will enable students to give general massage on a recreational level to friends and family and is of particular use within the sports environment.
This introductory weekend will help you discover whether you have the aptitude and desire to make the bigger commitment to a Level 5 diploma course.
Students receive a handbook on general massage to read before the workshop, so the weekend itself can be almost completely hands on, with the focus on developing the ‘feel’ for massage.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance, and this will be sufficient to enrol onto the Level 5 diploma.
