Our Beginner 2 (offered sporadically) is meant to be a continuation for students who have taken the beginner level, or who already have a base in Spanish.

In-person – Vanier College Main Campus (821 avenue Sainte Croix)
Information about your classroom will be emailed to you 1-2 days prior to your first class. If you are unsure about which classroom to go to, visit the Language School office (E-115) and we will provide you with the necessary information.

This introduction to Spanish is designed for those who have no previous knowledge of the language. Here, you will acquire basic pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar, as well as conversation skills through practice in pairs and small groups.
Our program goes beyond surface-level communication to facilitate fluent, native-like conversation. By getting you to speak in Spanish right away, you will quickly gain the confidence you need to put it to immediate use and be inspired to keep learning.
The courses are made up of small groups allowing personalized teaching and with an emphasis on oral communication and strengthening of writing and reading comprehension skills.
