Who Should Attend The Course?
Managers, Supervisors and anyone else in a role of responsibility within the workplace.

 

The Aim of the Course is:
To bring managers and supervisors up to speed on the practical actions they need to take to handle health and safety in their teams & give them the knowledge and tools to tackle the health and safety issues they’re responsible for.

Candidates will participate in theory lessons and practical exercises all of which are highlighted by the use of Presentation, DVD's & workbooks.

 

The course comprises eight modules:

  •     Introduction and overview
  •     Risk assessment
  •     Risk control
  •     Health and safety legislation
  •     Common hazards
  •     Investigating accidents and incidents
  •     Measuring performance
  •     Environmental protection

Assessments are designed to evaluate delegates' understanding of basic health and safety. Assessments include a 45-minute written paper consisting of 22 multi-format questions, plus submit a practical assessment, which is based on your particular workplace.
