IOSH Managing Safely

The Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) is the World’s largest Chartered Body for Health & Safety Professionals. Their accredited IOSH Managing Safely course is designed to equip Managers and Supervisors from any sector, and any organisation worldwide, with the practical actions they need to take, and gain the knowledge and tools to tackle the safety and health issues they’re responsible for.

To be awarded the IOSH Managing Safely Certificate candidates are required to pass a multi-format question paper at the end of the course, and complete a work based risk assessment with two weeks of the end of the course date.

This IOSH Managing Safely Course Training is designed for managers and supervisors in any organisation who are responsible for teams or groups of employees, and who are required to manage risk and resources.

IOSH Managing Safely is an internationally recognised qualification developed to give delegates the knowledge and skills to control safety workplace systems, and to be able to carry out risk assessments.

Ideally this course is well suited for managers, supervisors and team leaders to make them aware of their senior responsibilities, however if you are not in one of those roles and would like to capture key H&S principles then this course is also for you.

Our IOSH Managing Safely trainers all come from different backgrounds such as Professional Medic, Ex-Military, Mountain Rescue, Industry and are very educated with certificates in NEBOSH, IOSH, First Aid etc. With their knowledge and experience in this field they are able to share their experiences into the delivery of the course and give valuable advice of the do’s and don’ts.

Successful completion of this course delegates are provided with an IOSH Managing Safely certificate. After the completion of this course delegates tend to book themselves onto the Level 3 NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety for further knowledge.
