The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is a global organisation for health and safety professionals, based in UK.

The Managing Safely course covers the basics of Health & Safety in an interactive, jargon-free environment. The course runs from our Norwich head office and focuses on safety responsibilities, hazard identification, assessing and controlling risks, accident investigation, and measuring performance. 

Managing Safely is designed for managers and supervisors in any sector, and any organisation worldwide. They won’t suddenly become safety experts – but they’ll get up-to-speed on the practical actions they need to take, and gain the knowledge and tools to tackle the safety and health issues they’re responsible for.

Importantly, Managing Safely makes a powerful case for health and safety being an integral part of day-to-day management and business.

The course is split into two units; a taught module and a work-based assignment, and covers the following:

• Assessing risks
• Controlling risks
• Understanding responsibilities
• Understanding hazards
• Investigating incidents
• Measuring performance

The course runs from 9am to 5pm for 3 days in our Norwich city centre office.You will learn in a relaxed environment with a small group of people. Our tutors are chartered practitioners who will guide and encourage you through all the learning necessary to develop your skills.
