IOT – Internet of Things

IOT or Internet of Things is defined as a system of interrelated computing devices, machines, living beings or objects that are equipped with unique identifiers to transfer data without interacting human-to-any device/living being.

The system comprises of smart devices that make the use of processors, sensors etc to act on data that is collected from environment. It is safe to say that IoT will comprise of almost all the objects in the next few years.

The course is designed in such a manner so as to make the students aware of history and need of IoT and then equip them with its common standards, layers, deployment techniques and architecture. It will also cover an introduction to the real-life applications of IoT which can guide students for industry level projects.
