Beginning level students will learn the basic jig and reel steps and put them together into simple solo and ceili (group) dances.
Intermediate level students will include more complicated patterning and preparations for hard shoe.
Elizabeth Chayer opened American Dance Institute in Anchorage, Alaska in 1986 as an outreach program that taught dance in day care centers, preschools and community centers. She, and husband Steve, moved to
Seattle in 1989 and Elizabeth started American Dance Institute Seattle that same year. For three years she managed both locations before focusing all efforts on her fast-growing Seattle operation.

Civic Dance Arts Irish is a fun and engaging class designed to introduce your child to the basics of Irish dance. One year of jazz or ballet is required. This is the soft shoe style of Irish so jazz or ballet shoes required.
