The 4-day, competency-based BSI ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor course teaches the principles and practices of effective environmental management systems (EMS) and process audits in accordance with the ISO 14000 series of standards and ISO 19011 Guidelines for auditing quality and/or environmental management systems.

An experienced instructor explains the provisions of ISO 14001:2015 in detail, providing a foundation of understanding of quality management principles and including auditing the requirements of the standard.

Students learn through group exercises and in-depth discussions.This course includes the following three competency units from Exemplar Global TPECS, the results of which are certified by Exemplar Global:

  • EM (Environmental Management) Module - Environmental management systems
  • AU Module (Audit) - Audit of management systems
  • TL (Team Leading) Module - Leading management systems audit teams

Participants who successfully complete this course receive a Certificate of Competence for each of the Exemplar Global competency units listed above.

Prerequisites

We suggest reviewing ISO 14001:2015 before attending this course.

In addition, we strongly recommend that inexperienced students attend BSI's online training course ISO 14001:2015 Essentials before attending this classroom training, and we suggest having prior experience in internal auditing.
