This is a nationally accredited course that covers theoretical and practical aspects of using a harness. Providing you with the skills to correctly identify equipment, carry out pre-use checks, identify and control hazards when using a full body harness and requirements of a rescue plan.
This telehandler operator training will give a you the knowledge, skills and attributes to operate a telehandler safely. The trainee will be able to demonstrate the appropriate responsibilities of a telehandler operator with emphasis on accident prevention and operator responsibility.
This course prepares workplace Health and Safety representatives to be able to explain and demonstrate the overall role and functions of a Health and Safety Representative in a New Zealand workplace. Includes the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, employer and employee responsibilities.
Trainees must have held a Class 4 licence for a minimum of 3 months (if over 25 years of age) or 6 months (if under 25 years of age), as well as a 5L licence which they can obtain at any driver licensing agent. A separate charge payable to the licensing agency is applicable for this.
