Introduced in 2018, this is the first international standard to be issued covering health and safety at work. The course agenda includes:
With offices in Auckland, Tauranga, Christchurch and key personnel based in Dunedin, our insight and oversight remain in high demand across the country. With a team of over forty talented professionals.
We provide auditing services that focus as much on business improvement as they do standard compliance. We work in many different sectors and offer a multi-disciplinary approach to our clients, ensuring the standard they receive is appropriate, effective and reflects performance.
The courses cover the operator’s health and safety responsibilities in the workplace as required by the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, as well as the requirements found in the Approved Code of Practice training Operator’s and Instructors of Powered Industrial Lift Trucks (Forklifts).
We can carry out training for just one type of EWP equipment, like just the Scissorlift, or just the Knuckleboom. Â However many of the regulations apply to all machinery and therefore it is only a fraction more to complete training in other EWP machinery when done at the same time.
This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge, as an entrant or observer, to identify the types of confined spaces and hazards and risks associated with working in a confined space.
This course will equip workers and management with the knowledge and skills to not only identity hazards in their workplace but also to assess the associated risks and implement appropriate control measures.
Under the Health & Safety at Work ( Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017 a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU) is required to have one or more certified handlers if your workplace uses, handles, manufactures or stores certain hazardous substances.
