Maritime and Industry Workplace Training (MIWT) delivers a wide range of training courses, with the majority of our training courses delivering a practical and hands on approach, not just theory.
The practical workspace has been designed to simulate real working environments, and it goes without saying that a full course workbook, handouts and other materials are given to each participant.
We believe that your learning experience is enhanced by our small class sizes with the average class anywhere between 6-12 participants.
All training is delivered and supplemented by flat screen televisions and white boards allowing the course content to be viewed easily by the entire class.
Participants are encouraged to actively join in, contributing with their own experiences and also to challenge and learn from each other.
Individual and group exercises are designed to get people thinking about what they have learnt and how to apply their knowledge.
Our Vision
Our aim and commitment is to provide local, nationally recognised training that is affordable, flexible in terms of delivery, regular and aligned to local and market needs whilst ensuring our clients are engaged by bringing the theory component to life with practical experiences.
