Course Details

Requirements & Details:

  • Participants must be a minimum of 17 years of age to sit the assessment, and be proficient in English

  • Photo ID, and wear appropriate clothing and closed in shoes

  • A short literacy and numeracy test will be required

  • Assessment type: Theory and Practical

  • Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by QTLT RTO #40931

 

Course Outline:

These units describes the skills and knowledge required to issue work permits and understand the permit system and limitations of each permit.  

  • Identify the need for a work permit

  • Ensure job site is prepared for authorised work

  • Raise and issue work permits

  • Monitor work for compliance

  • Receive end of day report

  • Close work permit
