The course uses a combination of assessment styles to give students the confidence to apply their knowledge to succeed in the workplace or to continue learning on higher education courses. This qualification is studied alongside 2 or 3 other A Levels or Level 3 BTEC equivalent courses.
The course allows students to gain fundamental knowledge and skills in computing from which they can progress to broader or more specialist study at higher level. The qualification can be taken in combination with A Levels or other vocational qualifications to meet progression requirements.
