IT Users

This Level 1 Award is design to maximise your opportunity to progress either in learning or the workplace by focussing on the development of ICT and transferable skills.

The qualification is suitable for anyone who needs to use IT in their daily life. You’ll learn how to create manage and share files and use common workplace software.

You will develop the transferable skills, attributes and behaviours needed to progress to further study (in a range of subjects) and ultimately to employment.

What does a learner need to do?

• Attend regular classes either in-person or online.

• Allow time for project work and study each week.

• Talk to your trainer for support and guidance if you need more support.

• Bring a positive attitude to class and any work experience to make sure you get the most from the opportunity.
