Italian (Group Courses Beginner 1)

For those of you interested in having their Italian language officially certified by Perugia University, we are happy to remind you that the exam can be taken at Lingo School of Knowledge.

Beginner 1

The course targets total beginners. Students will learn Italian Phonetics, how to introduce themselves and formulate simple Q&A, how to greet and talk about their daily lives, hobbies and taste, how to order in a bar/restaurant.

Grammatical contents: Masculine & Feminine, Singular & Plural, Verbs TO BE and TO Have, Simple Present of the 3 groups of Italian Verbs, the Articles, Interrogative Pronouns, Reflexive and Indirect Pronouns, Basic Prepositions

Not convinced yet? Italian is spoken as a native language by 65 million people in the EU alone (13% of the EU population), mainly in Italy, and as a second language by 14 million (3%), including the Italian speakers in non-EU European countries (such as Switzerland and Albania). If you add up the immigrant communities in other continents, the total number of speakers is more than 85 million.
