The Division of Continuing and International Education at the University of Miami offers credit and non-credit academic programs to various types of students, including kids and teens, traditional undergraduates, international students, adults and corporations.
Japanese is a Category IV language. It takes on average 64 weeks of full-time training to reach a limited working proficiency (ILR level 2). The exact time needed will depend on many factors.
Japanese Class Levels There are multiple levels for beginner through advanced Japanese students. We have developed our own curriculum based off of standards and best teaching practices.
Japanese course is offered by Boston Language Hub. Our courses are taught by highly qualified and experienced teacher who are extremely dedicated to ensuring you leave with all the necessary skills to broaden your horizons and never be lost for words again.
ILI’s foreign language courses are tailored to suit the student’s specific needs and goals. We offer beginning, intermediate, and advanced class levels in each language. However, our instructors do not follow a fixed curriculum for each class.
Students will be introduced to Japanese writing system (i.e. Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji) and will learn how to use a computer to write Japanese. Students will practice basic conversations in the target language and learn about Japanese culture.
