DurationZtunes is excited to announce the formation of the Ztunes Jazz Band, starting this Spring Semester 2022! The Jazz Band will give current students who are interested in learning about and playing jazz in a group setting. Previous experience in a jazz band is not required. The group will be led by our very own Ms. Stephanie.
Ms. Stephanie has degrees in trumpet performance from Indiana University and the University of Michigan, where she studied both classical and jazz trumpet.
She currently plays with several jazz groups around Atlanta, including The Atlanta 13, 120 East, and the Son Jazzy Orchestra.
There are many options out there, but not all music schools are built the same. Founded by Karen Zgonc, a Decatur and Atlanta resident and parent, Ztunes is built from the ground up on a personal passion of music education and a comprehensive approach to all instruments.
Our faculty are carefully screened to not only be great musicians, but great educators. We participate in ongoing clinics at Ztunes and through professional associations to collaborate and learn from one another and experts in the field of music education.
Our faculty are also active performers who can often be found at local festivals, in the Symphony, or various live performance venues throughout Metro Atlanta.

Trumpet Lessons are offered by Community Music Center. Community Music Center makes high quality music accessible to people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities, regardless of financial means. Classes are offered on a sliding scale and some are completely tuition-free.
Trumpet Lessons are offered by NY Ensemble Classes. Our classes are taught by two instructors specialized in different instruments. Each ensemble is assigned to multiple teachers scheduled on rotation. This unique course design provides an enhanced and deeper learning experience.
