Our tech teacher’s program gets results in these areas which is so important for the competitive dancer. The Com Jazz classes are more focused on learning combos and choreography that is up to date with the latest jazz style and fun. Commercial Jazz @ DE is great for the recreational dancer that is looking for fitness and fun. We start jazz classes from as young as 3 years old right through to senior.

Our students are all rounded performers who excel in all areas of performing arts.... classical ballet, hip hop, tap, jazz, contemporary, acro, singing and acting.
The body explores the potential to move every which way it can to popular music and funky beats. Jazz works flexibility and strength, dynamics and communication skills and allow the children to have incredible fun as they keep fit.
These dance classes are lots of fun and are open to boys and girls from 3 years of age! These classes incorporate upbeat fast paced music, current dance moves and are great for fitness, fun and technical advancement. Exams are available for students from Test One and upwards.

At DDS we follow the sylabi of the ATOD which includes all styles from the very foundations of Jazz to the very latest moves. The Syllabus was created by the Jazz Moves Core Committee which was released in 2007.
