Dancing Stars Toowoomba is well known in the community for offering students the opportunity to perform at various community events.
Our students have had the opportunity to display their talent, build their confidence and enjoy the thrill of performing at various School Fetes, Shopping Centres, Football Games, Nursing Homes, Retirement Villages, Local Business Launch Events, Fashion Shows, Toowoomba Show, Carnival of Flowers, Christmas Wonderland, Local Markets, Colour Runs, Bites n Beats and various other events – just to name a few!
Jazz is a fun, energetic class that combines technique with the latest moves. Students will learn how to safely turn and jump and will develop further coordination, flexibility and expressive skills while improving their fitness levels.
We offer various streams of Jazz including, Broadway Jazz, Commercial Jazz, “Sexy Street” Jazz, and Lyrical Jazz. As well as your traditional Jazz Dance Class.
The latest trends are taught at our studio because the teachers have actually been performing in professional productions. The youthful energy and enthusiasm that is generated on our jazz nights is absolutely electric. We have many classes for all standards and ages.
An ideal class for those wanting a challenge, a great workout, improve their commercial dance style, and are looking to bring some sass and swagger into their dance repertoire.
Our jazz is a combination of Theatre/Broadway Jazz as seen in movies such as Chicago where students focus on technique & rhythm, to modern Funk Jazz seen in music video clips and movies where students learn the latest moves to modern music
