Our vision is to teach the timeless art of dance with the support and fellowship of dedicated artists.
This class will consist of a warm up followed by stretch and technique which is fundamental to all styles of dance. We will then focus on some across the floor then end with some fun / sassy jazz choreography! This class is for those of you that love to dance and want to improve!
Jazz is a foundational dance style that emphasizes: rhythm, syncopation, grounded movement, isolations, body alignment, core strength, coordination and flexibility. Jazz relies on the dancers classical ballet training and dance technique. Jazz dance pushes the dancer to connect emotionally and physically to the music. Jazz dance has a huge range of styles: theater and Broadway jazz, classical, modern, lyrical, funk, African, contemporary and more
Jazz Dance Classes are offered by City Dance Studios for all ages. Our instructors are highly accomplished dancers and excellent/caring teachers. It's very important to us that City Dance feels like a welcoming community to everyone who comes through our doors.
