Our Jazz  classes teach students how to convey a message to the audience with their dancing. Jazz dance is a form of dance commonly used in Broadway shows and and by the Rockettes. A variety of jazz styles will be taught including Luigi, Matt Maddox, West Coast, Fosse and Giordano

Jazz dance is very broad style that may refer to vernacular jazz, Broadway jazz, or studio jazz dance. All genres build on the African American vernacular style of dancing that emerged with jazz music

Jazz dance classes are offered by The Studio for all ages and skill level. At The Studio, we provide options for all levels of interest and ability by offering classes at varying levels of difficulty, ranging from beginner to advanced.

This class will consist of a warm up followed by stretch and technique which is fundamental to all styles of dance. We will then focus on some across the floor then end with some fun / sassy jazz choreography! This class is for those of you that love to dance and want to improve!
