Michelle offers a range of classes catering for 3 years olds up to our ladies open jazz and tap classes. Classes start from $8.80 per lesson.
Jazz uses the latest dance moves to latest music. A Jazz routine incorporates stylized dance movements and combinations, formation changes, group work, leaps and turns.
Jazz is one of our most popular classes – Weekly classes consist of warm up, corner work technique and learning a dance routine. Jazz classes commence when children start prep or aged 5 and over.
Today, jazz dance continues to evolve and blend with other dance styles — for example, street jazz and theatre dance.This emerging style of technical jazz became popular in the movement of Jack Cole, Jerome Robbins, Gwen Verdon, and Bob Fosse.
Each week offers a different dance style from Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Commercial and Musical Theatre.
This combination class will expose students to a range of techniques relevant to Jazz and Lyrical.
