Jelly Roll

Machine Pieced Patchwork using rotary cutters and rulers, and sewing techniques on your machine. This course can be completed without hand sewing or templates.Leonie has expanded her repertoire of Jelly Rolls patterns to include two more delightful quilts – so effective and so easy to make.

Jelly rolls are pretty, attractive to quilters because so much of the repetitive cutting has been done for you, but what pattern can you make with them that uses a whole jelly roll to make a decent sized quilt – and do it quickly?

No previous experience with machine piecing required; suitable for beginners and those wanting to expand or review their skills, or learn a design that can be completed relatively quickly.

This workshop will develop the following skills:

• Working with pre-cut fabrics
• Cutting fabric accurately using a rotary cutter, ruler and mat
• Setting up your machine for piecing fabric
• Stitching an accurate ¼” seam
• Pressing and ironing fabric
• Matching seams for a perfect join
