Students will analyze target audiences and trends in the media. There will be a focus on current events and current journalism practices that will help students understand what happens in media newsrooms.
The goal is to develop a better awareness of what makes a story and how it can be told in the most interesting way.

In this class, we will listen critically to podcasts to understand how this format engages audiences on challenging topics
Using a Trickster developed method, artists will work with classes on a picture prompt selected by you.
Introduces the technical, creative, analytical and practical skills needed to develop multimedia projects designed to engage intended audiences.
Learn to translate your story ideas into a visual narrative as you begin to consider frame composition, camera angles and movement, character blocking, and layout drawings.
