Everything can be a story, but what makes a compelling story? This course explores the foundations of storytelling and the art and science behind telling stories in a journalistic setting.
Students will analyze target audiences and trends in the media. There will be a focus on current events and current journalism practices that will help students understand what happens in media newsrooms.
The goal is to develop a better awareness of what makes a story and how it can be told in the most interesting way.
