Students in the Journalism Communication Specialisation learn practical reporting skills such as research, interviewing, writing and presenting. They are introduced to contemporary multimedia journalism and learn how to report for audio, video and online.

This specialisation will introduce you to the core concepts of marketing, including how consumers think and how marketers need to adapt their strategy to appeal to different markets.
You’ll learn the skills needed to develop, organise and implement marketing activities in a highly competitive and volatile environment. Through engagement with industry professionals, you’ll learn how to expand a customer base and set an organisation on the path to growth and success.

Overall responsibility
The overarching responsibility for ensuring the currency and appropriateness of the designated culture lies with the Executive Committee. The main objective of the Advanced Diploma in Digital Media Design and Communication is to provide students with a comprehensive education in digital media, preparing them for successful careers in the dynamic and evolving fields of design and communication.

Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Diploma in Mass Communication from Kaplan Higher Education Academy, Singapore.
You will learn design methodologies and establish the knowledge base of design principles. The level also highlights the rules and core skills that govern the design process, while providing a historical, social and creative introduction to the design practice.
On completion of the program, students will be prepared to apply the theoretical and technical knowledge and skills to provide socially and ethically responsible business communication solutions.
