Timestep Academy of Dance & Performing Arts in Portsmouth was founded in 1997 by Mrs Sarah Williams.
It has grown in numbers since then due to the excellent reputation that has been achieved.
Past pupils have gone on to train at Ballet schools such as Elmhurst and Tring, and others have furthered their training at London Colleges such as Birds, Performers College and Urdang.
At Timestep we offer many kinds of dance training in Portsmouth that some other schools can’t offer….
For those who want to take their dance training a little further, we can also offer private tuition and entry into competitions and other events.

This class will introduce you to various different styles within the Jazz genre and will allow you to develop your technique, musicality and performance skills over the course of five days. Expect great music and lots of fun! Aimed at dancers of all levels.
